Executive program: ESG reporting expert

Double Materiality Assessment

Nicolette Loonen and Ulrike de Jong jointly conduct the session diving deeper into the double materiality assessment and the practical processes it entails for organizations. What is the value chain you consider and where does it start and end? Also, consider how stakeholder consultation is organized to determine the double materiality. Evaluate the soundness of this, taking into account the organization's context, supply chain, societal dilemmas, and stakeholders.

Based on the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) have been published, comprising a comprehensive set of new reporting standards. Sustainability encompasses environmental (E), social (S), and governance (G) aspects. A company is not bound by all specific rules; instead, relevance is determined through stakeholder engagement. Understanding the content and implications of the new regulations is essential for responsible application.

For an in-depth exploration of sustainability reporting (CSRD, ESRS), the Impact Centre Erasmus (ICE) collaborates with the Erasmus School of Accounting & Assurance (ESAA) to offer the four-day Executive Program ESG Reporting Expert. This program provides thorough knowledge and insights to implement within your organization.

The Executive Program ESG Reporting Expert from Erasmus University Rotterdam is tailored for professionals involved in preparing, overseeing, advising on, or auditing sustainability reporting, as well as those with a general interest in the field.
