For us, sustainability is about long-term welfare. That is why long-term value creation is always our starting point. Organisations can achieve it by putting their stakeholders and society at large centre stage in their actions. Integrated thinking and focusing on the long term are essential in this.
We act as Change Agents focused on progress. We prefer big clients, but we are also happy to assist organisations who are just starting out in this process. We support and enable change by enhancing awareness, transferring knowledge and aligning with individual motives. We prefer to operate in co-creation with our clients because we believe that this will result in sustainable improvement and change, and will enhance the engagement of the entire organisation.
I am convinced that organisations can only be successful in the long term if on balance they are making a positive contribution to society. With my experience as an adviser, accountant, director and supervisor I want to contribute to the transition towards a sustainable society. Everybody can make their own contribution. No matter how small the pebble is that you throw in the pond, together we can make a giant wave.
By bringing together my background in marketing & strategy with sustainability I want to help organisations to make REAL impact on their way towards a green, open and inclusive economy. I am convinced that companies can only be and remain successful if they look at all three pillars of sustainability: so not just the economic pillar, but certainly also the social dimension, and taking care of our planet.
Defining, implementing and communicating a sustainability policy together with a company: this is what I like to do! With a unique and personal story that you, as an employee of a company, can be proud of. With concrete goals and results. And beautifully designed. Preferably on 1 A4. This makes it clear to employees, customers and other stakeholders where you stand as an organization and where you want to go. That works very well, I know this from my 15 years of experience as a sustainability consultant.
The motto I can identify with is 'Do not harm Do good'. Based on the essence that I like to see organizations realize positive impact, more than just managing 'less negative effects'. To achieve organization-wide improvement, I like to work in teams. And by asking the right questions, I support organizations in gaining insight and overview. I am looking for an instrument that fits the working method, business operations and the level of ambition. With my experience as a consultant and auditor, I ensure that the insights obtained are converted into plans and actions.
Solving societal issues is only possible if everyone participates. Through my experience as a CSR manager and sustainability consultant, I know what it takes to develop sustainable and responsible business operations, how to involve employees and what opportunities there are to make a positive impact. My expertise lies in strategy and implementation, policy development and governance, materiality analyses, impact/sustainability reporting and the development of social programmes.
