On January 19th 2021, the IIRC launched its revised integrated reporting framework. Although it may seem that the revisions are just a few wordings that have changed, we believe that this revised model offers great opportunities for companies that want to enhance their value creation story.
On January 12th, 2021, the so-called big-5 (CDP, CDSB, GRI, IIRC and SASB) hosted a webinar called “Progress towards a comprehensive corporate reporting system: Webinar with the leading sustainability and integrated reporting organizations” where they presented their thoughts and insights on how to achieve a common corporate reporting system.

On November 6th, the EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group) published its progress report on the revision of the NFRD (Non Financial Reporting Directive). The report gives a very extensive overview of the current state of non-financial reporting in the EU, and sheds a light on the direction the EFRAG thinks the NFRD should move forward
On November 5, WIFS partnered up with TOSCA to host an online masterclass on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During the masterclass, TOSCA's Nicolette and Ulrike talked the around 30 particpants through what the SDGs are and what complex environmental and societal issues they are trying to address.
